Welcome to Paradise Golf Carts (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our golf cart rental services in the Bahamas (“Services”). By renting a golf cart from us or using our website, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use our Services.

Rental Eligibility 

To rent a golf cart, you must:

Be at least 21 years old.

Provide a valid driver’s license and government-issued ID.

Agree to all terms and conditions outlined herein.

Booking and Payments

Reservations:

Reservations can be made online, or by phone.

A valid credit card is required to secure your booking.

Payment Terms:

Full payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise specified.

Accepted payment methods include, credit cards, debit cards, wire transfer.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations made 48 prior to the reservation will receive a full refund.

Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the reservation will be subject to a cancellation fee of 20 percent.

Rental Period and Use

Duration:

Rentals are provided for a specified period as outlined in your reservation.

Late returns will incur additional charges of daily rate plus a $20 per day late fee.

Permitted Use:

Golf carts may only be operated on designated roads and within approved areas.

You are prohibited from using the golf cart for racing, towing, or any illegal activities.

Driver Responsibility:

Only authorized drivers listed on the rental agreement may operate the golf cart.

Drivers must adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.

Liability and Insurance

Damage to Golf Cart:

You are responsible for any damage, theft, or loss of the golf cart during the rental period.

A security deposit will be held and may be used to cover damages.

Insurance:

Basic insurance coverage is included in the rental fee.

Additional coverage options may be available for purchase.

In the event of an accident, you are required to report it immediately to local authorities and to us.

Personal Liability:

You are responsible for any injuries or damages caused to third parties while operating the golf cart.

Maintenance and Breakdown

Inspection:

Golf carts are inspected prior to each rental to ensure they are in good working condition.

You are required to inspect the golf cart upon delivery and report any issues immediately.

Breakdown Assistance:

In the event of a breakdown, contact us immediately for assistance.

Unauthorized repairs or towing are not permitted and may result in additional charges.

Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

Modify or tamper with the golf cart.

Allow unauthorized persons to operate the golf cart.

Use the golf cart under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Exceed the maximum passenger or weight capacity.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate your rental agreement without refund if you:

Violate any terms outlined in this agreement.

Engage in reckless or unsafe behavior.

Fail to return the golf cart at the agreed time.

Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for:

Personal injury, property damage, or other losses arising from your use of the golf cart.

Delays or disruptions caused by weather, road conditions, or unforeseen events.

Loss of personal belongings during the rental period.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Bahamas. Any disputes arising from this agreement will be resolved in the courts of the Bahamas.

Amendments

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will take effect immediately upon posting. Continued use of our Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
